The Ultimate new age shag
***Read below how I created this super chic look!
My beautiful client came in looking for a change today. She was feeling drab and in need of getting her edge back! For many years, her hair was very short and bleached completely blonde from roots to ends. She had been growing it out for many months and as a result of the old bleach and tone, her ends were feeling dry and lifeless. We opted to chop 2 inches off the length and give her these super chic, tousled layers that encouraged texture and movement.
We used Monat smoothing shampoo and conditioner to keep the frizz to a min, and used Monat’s split end mender as well as the leave in conditioner.
Blowdried with a flat brush, and used a 1 in curling iron barrel to create these soft waves.
Tip: when curling, leave the ends out to create more of a beach wave.
We cut a fringe to enhance her deep set eyes and to encourage to brow bone sand cheek bones to pop! A fringe (bangs) can add a focal point, a point of interest, even a bit of drama.
